Networks Centre was founded in 2005 by Managing Director Duncan Lindsay. Duncan was the initial founder of Networks Centre in 2005, and current MD. Prior to this he worked in the tourism industry, before becoming a salesman for a leading fibre optic distributor. His vision was to take networking distribution to a new level and saw a gap in the market for a distributor with leading customer service, good stock levels and strict SLAs.
The rapid growth of Networks Centre has proved that his vision is correct. Year on year the Company has enjoyed rapid growth and is now one of the largest network distributors in the UK. Duncan is very hands on and his time is involved in all aspects of the company including sales and the companies infastructure.
Being the father to 3 young sons, spare time is limited but Duncan enjoys playing golf and skiing.
James joined Networks Centre in 2013 as a Director of the company. Prior to this he performed a global account manager role for some of the world's leading businesses for global manufacturer of physical infrastructure solutions, Panduit.
In his role, James will build on his 15 years' experience in the industry, in order to develop the project and solutions side of Networks Centre. He will also manage the external sales force, working out of the UK Headquarters and virtually.
James is RCDD accredited and has a wealth of relevant experience to bring to the business.
In his spare time, James enjoys listening to and playing, music.
Keith originally joined Networks Centre in 2009 as a Product Specialist, focusing on technical sales. As his experience grew, he moved on to become UK Distribution Account Manager at Fluke Networks.
In this role, Keith developed key relationships and grew his area within his channel, specialising in copper certification testing, fibre optic testing, network and wireless testing.
Keith has returned to Networks Centre, to develop the new training initiative, setting up our new Training Academy. This new facility will deliver BICSI RCDD and manufacturer-led accreditations. His key aims are to add value to our customers through bespoke training and services.
In his spare time, Keith is a keen motorcyclist and enjoys the outdoors.
Alison joined Networks Centre in 2007 as the Operations & Finance Manager and is now Finance and Commerical Director. She previously worked in the finance departments of both large corporates and SME businesses.
In her day to day role, Alison employs her strong commercial background and more than 20 years' experience in the finance and insurance industries, to manage all company finances.
She is AICB (CB cert) certified and a long-standing member of the Institute of certified bookkeepers.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys riding horses with her two daughters.
Katie joined Networks Centre in 2008 as Office Administrator and worked her way progressively through the ranks. Her talent, hard work and dedication to the business have seen her be promoted from Purchasing Assistant to Purchasing Manager in 2011 and now Procurement Director in 2020.
Katie oversees all areas of stock control and procurement. She identifies customer and business needs by forecasting levels of demand for services and products, and maintaining constant stock levels at all times in order to maximise business efficiency.
Her competent ability to negotiate with suppliers, coupled with her strong understanding of logistics, enable precise management of the supply chain.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys cooking, baking and relaxing with friends.
Ronald is looking after Networks Centre’s Dutch subsidiary, having opened on March 1st 2021 in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Ronald started his career in 1990 in the network infrastructure industry, in The Netherlands. In this field, he has been working for distributors and vendors, both locally and internationally.
In his current role, he will manage the Dutch subsidiary and contribute to achieving Networks Centre’s goal of international expansion whilst serving as a base to assist our existing European customers.
In his spare time, Ronald enjoys restoring and riding 50cc Honda old-timers as well as jogging in the outdoors.
